“Shambala Gatherings (Borntorpet) is co-created by all the people visiting us every
summer, may they be teachers, students or volonteers.

This year the main crew will be:

Johan Svanborg: Johan is one of the three co-founders
of Borntorpet. He´s an experienced yoga teacher and together
with Melissa, guides tours to Bali, Peru and India. He is
also a Vedic Art teacher, craniosacral therapist and
thai yoga masseur. At Shambala, he will be contactable
24/7 at either the painting studio, the lake, in the
sauna, or in the hammok!

Lena Svanborg: Lena has been working in the culinary
field for over ten years. She´s a great organiser, specially
in the kitchen, where she teases everyone with the best
desserts and home made bread imaginable!
Lena also assists Biff Mitthoeffer in adding feminine
presence when holding space at the successful Yin
Yoga reterats.

Melissa Nuñez-Brown: After many years in the fashion
world, Melissa set out on a journey around the world,
pursuing her passion for creative expression taking form in writing, photography and painting.
At Shambala she is responsibe for the creation and
update of this website as well as bringing Spanish
sensuality to her Balinese Massages.
