Set amidst lakes and dense forests, this is the perfect place to immerse yourself in Yoga and Mother Nature on our Autumnal retreat this coming September. Forest walks are just magical at this time of year, so deeply peaceful with a chance to practice Shinrin Yoku (forest bathing) and be at one with nature. Relax your muscles and mind in the floating sauna and go wild swimming in the beautiful lake. Paddle around in a canoe or take a bike ride to the nearby village.
We have the use of the large and fully equipped Yoga shala overlooking the lake and forest and we have our very own chef catering for all our Ayurvedic inspired meals which really are created with love.
The beauty of nature can have a profound effect, calming the senses and pacifying the mind. In nature, as we find in our Yoga practice, we can be present in the moment without distractions. In allowing ourselves the peaceful and extended free time of a retreat, we make space within, space for new ideas, space to remove old habits and create new. We recharge, give renewed energy to ourselves, rejuvenate and allow for optimism and change.
Your 3 night stay consists of 5 Yoga sessions, meditations, Yoga nidras, an exploratory workshop, floating saunas and incredible, healthy, nourishing food.
Fully embracing our ethos we have curated this retreat to give you the opportunity to begin or enhance your Yoga practice making way for a deeper connection to yourself and the universe, encouraged and inspired by the calming influences of natural surrounds.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Whether you’re starting a Yoga practice or want to develop an existing practice, Jo and any guest teachers/assistants will ensure your specific needs are tailored for during the Yoga sessions and workshops. You will receive adjustments to help you to deepen and advance your practice. Equally, modifications will be given.
We care about the needs of each client and will gather a little information about you before the retreat in terms of where you are in your practice and any specific areas you’d like to work on
The first Yoga session of any Back to Nature retreat is usually an alignment based Hatha class to bring the group together. Then, throughout the retreat, classes will be a fusion of Hatha (traditional and dynamic), flow and restorative. Sessions are themed around the needs of the group ensuring that each client comes away with an enhanced practice.
Workshops or mini one to one sessions may take place and there’s plenty of opportunity for Yoga themed discussions on nature walks or around the dinner table.
Jo teaches with passion, patience, precision and humour. You can be sure that your practice will progress and evolve plus you’ll learn a lot and have fun along the way!
