Coming home to oneself through love and acceptance, navigating the ups and downs of life from a wiser place.
This retreat has several focuses:
Breathing
How to breathe to calm the nervous system, thus remaining calm, more resilient and less emotionally reactive in daily life.
Psycho-therapeutic Concepts: We will take a deeper look at the layers of self to understand our different behaviors better and to look at the different personality structures that we have built. Once we have a deeper understanding it is much easier to integrate these parts/behaviors compassionately for a greater feeling of wholeness.
Buddhist Philosophy and meditation
We will use mindfulness practices to help us find that place of rest amidst the inevitable ups and downs of everyday life.
Yoga: We will use Tantric yogic techniques that work with the energy body and there will be classes of vinyasa and yin.
Non-Violent Communication
We will use techniques from this wonderful form of communication that can help us feel into our needs and express them in a wiser way. An amazing tool in day to day relating.
Silence
There will be Silence from Friday morning until Sunday morning. This is a chance to really take a deeper look inside, to slow down and become more intimate with oneself.
There will be a talk before about the power of silence and some of the challenges one might face during this period. Please know, I am available during this period if you are struggling and need to talk to us.
